We are so excited about our brand new custom Spring/Easter Grotto. The box (grotto) is custom-made to our specifications in El Paso, Texas from heavy wood and handpainted in our studio.And each individual piece is individually cut from clay, fired twice in the kiln ,handpainted and glazed .We hope you will love this nativity as much as we do!
The entire set is 12 pieces of custom ceramics, along with a medallion and 'welcome happy morning' banner at the top. Every piece you see is made by hand with clay and handpainted and glazed and fired twice in our kilns. They are moveable and removable so you can also set them up in different places or display other things inside the grotto.

Tricia Lowenfield is a self-taught artist and designer creating pieces in a whimsical European folk art style. She works in a variety of art media, specializing in but not limited to ceramics. She loves functional art, so many pieces tell a story on a handpainted plate or platter, bowl or tile. She considers each piece to be a canvas on which to create a memory. Her pieces are cherished by her customers and considered heirlooms to pass down over the years.
